Application Procedure for the Career Academies

NOTE: The application process for admission to the Academy for the Class of 2014 has concluded.

All applicants must attend an information session with a parent or guardian in order to be considered for admission. You must pick up an application at the information session. Applications will not be mailed; they may only be obtained at the mandatory information sessions. Students may only apply to one Career Academy, although they may attend information sessions at more than one in order to make an informed decision.

The application process for the Class of 2015 (8th graders in fall 2010) will begin in the fall of 2010. A schedule of these information sessions will be available in late summer and may be obtained by checking individual Career Academy websites or by calling 732-431-6291.

Students are selected for admission based upon the following criteria: 100 point scale (75 point minimum score required); 15 points each grade (7, 8), 35 points each math and language arts entrance exam scores.
The highest scoring qualified applicants will be offered admission.
