Application Procedure for the Career Academies
All applicants must attend an information session with a parent or guardian in order to be considered for admission. You must pick up an application at the information session. Applications will not be mailed. They may only be obtained at the mandatory information sessions.
A schedule of these information sessions may be obtained by calling 732-431-6291.
Students will be selected based upon the following criteria: 100 point scale (75 point minimum score required); 15 points each grade (7, 8), 35 points each math and language arts entrance exam scores.
The highest scoring qualified applicants will be offered admission.
The 2009-2010 entrance examination will be administered on January 10, 2009. Deadline for applications is December 12, 2008.
